Wellman Robey recently secured an order for ten new Ygnette hot water boilers for the Ministry of Defence at this year's Plant & Works Exhibition at the NEC. This tops last year when Wellman Robey installed nine Ygnette hot water boilers at RAF Marham in East Anglia. When installed, the ten high pressure hot water boilers, each rated at 3.3MW, will be operating in pairs of five boiler houses over a large coverage of workshop and storage facilities.

Like the Marham installation, the contract is a repeat order. "Danks of Netherton" supplied the original boilers over thirty years ago, and the name "Danks" is now incorporated into Wellman Robey, along with other past names.
